Returns and Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your By boe purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may return your purchase for a full refund of the purchase price less your shipping and handling cost. We will gladly accept unworn merchandise in its original condition within 14 days of receipt. Shipping and handling cost are not refundable and by boe is not responsible for return shipping. Returns must be pre-paid and shipped via an insured delivery provider (USPS, UPS, or FedEx). It takes 10-12 business days to process your return. Credit for your returned item(s) will be refunded back to your account in the same form of payment in which it was received. The credit should appear on your next statement. You will receive an email confirming the completion of return processing

If you have received the incorrect item or the item was damaged upon arrival it will be repaired or replaced at no cost. By boe will issue a call tag for return shipping from you to us and send replacement back to you at no cost. Claims must be made within 7 days of receipt.

All sale merchandise is final sale.

We cannot offer merchandise exchanges. If you would like one item in place of another, simply return your original purchase by following the above Return Guidelines and place a new order for the item you would like.

In the case of jewelry being damaged over time, we are able to offer repairs for a fee. Charges are assessed once the item for repair has been received and evaluated. To request repairs, please contact our office at 718.488.0400 or email us at for a return authorization (RA) number (if you include an image and description of the item to be repaired in your email we may be able to assess the repair charge and estimated time before you send it in). (RA) Number must be marked on the outside of the package. Packages sent without (RA) numbers will not be accepted.

Domestic shipping

Domestic shipping includes all 50 U.S. states and Puerto Rico. Domestic shipping options include UPS, USPS or FedEx. We offer standard ground as well as expedited services.

Please allow between 1-2 business days for your standard shipping order to be processed and shipped. Free ground shipping applies to all 50 States and Puerto Rico via USPS standard on all orders $50 and over before tax. Orders requiring expedited shipping must be placed before 12-noon EST to ensure being shipped out the same day

International shipping

International orders can be shipped via FedEx or United States Postal Service.

FedEx time in transit is typically 3-4 business days and United States Postal Service typically 7-14 business days but please refers to your selected carrier’s website to calculate time in transit or email us at and we can try to assist you. Free FedEx international priority shipping applies to all orders $100 and over before tax.

Please note that orders shipped with United States Postal Service will coordinate with your country’s postal service. Once the package leaves the US we can no longer assist you with tracking it. All orders shipped outside the US may be subject to local customs fees or duties. Every country has different procedures and fees for incoming packages. By boe does not have information on customs or duties and we are not able to estimate these charges. Customs processing may delay packages.

Product care and information

Though By boe jewelry has been designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards, please note that many styles are delicate and requires gentle handling. Proper care and maintenance will preserve the beauty and shine of your By boe jewelry. When jewelry is not being worn, always store in the pouch provided or in a jewelry box.

14kt Gold Filled. 14kt gold filled is a technique where 14kt gold gets heat bonded to a core of brass. 14kt Gold-filled is legally required to contain 1/20th of its weight in gold which is a much higher gold content than gold plating. This creates a product that will not fade and has the sheen of pure gold. Care should be taken when cleaning to protect the layer of gold from being worn away or nicked. Do not use abrasive compounds to clean the jewelry. The best way to care for it is to gently scrub it with an old soft toothbrush and a mild dish washing liquid. Rinse and lay on a towel to dry. Be sure it is completely dry before storing.

Gold Plated Sterling Silver. By Boe’s gold plating is an overlay of 14kt gold on sterling silver.  This ensures a quality metal as opposed to base metals under your gold.  The most important tool against tarnish is preventative care. The gold plating is sensitive to scratching and cleaning, so if you need to polish your jewelry, use only a dry and soft clean cloth.  Do not use a silver polishing cloth as it will remove the 14kt overlay from the silver. For severe tarnish or cleaning, you can use a gold polishing cloth lightly, but repeated or excessive use will ruin the surface of the jewelry

Sterling Silver. Exposure to air, dust or other elements, particularly those containing salt air and sulfur, may cause sterling silver to tarnish more rapidly.  However, silver that is regularly used typically needs less care, so By boe encourages you to enjoy and wear your silver every day. There are a number of non-abrasive polishes on the market specifically designed to remove tarnish.  Always read the warning label and take care when using polishes on your jewelry.

Other materials An "oxidized" (labeled as OXSS) finish is the deliberate blackening of crevices in the ornamentation of a sterling silver object to make its decorative details stand out more clearly. Take care as this finish can be removed by overzealous cleaning and polishing.

How do I become a registered user for this site?

To become a registered member of this site, click Log in then customer on the menu bar under new customer and enter your information. Then click Submit. You will receive a confirmation email confirming your registration.

How do I sign in to this site?

To sign in to your customer account, click Log In, then customer on the menu bar from the home page and enter your e-mail address and password.

How do I sign out of this site?

To sign out of your customer account, click Log Out on the menu bar and you will return to the home page. If Log Out does not appear on the menu bar, then you are not currently signed in to the site.

What if I forgot my password?

If you have forgotten your password, click Log In on the menu bar to access the Sign In screen. At the bottom of the page, click on the Forgot your password? link. On the password retrieval page, you may enter your e-mail address, and then click Submit. We will send your password to the e-mail address we have on file for your account.

Can I update my account contact information?

To update your contact information you must first Sign In. Click My Account on the menu bar to access your account information. Select the Profile for which you wish to update the contact information. Make your changes and then click Save.

Can I change my e-mail address and password?

To update your e-mail address and password you must first Sign In. Click My Account on the menu bar to access your account information and then select Change E-mail Address and Password from the My Account menu. You may update your e-mail address, first and last name, and change your password, then click Save.

Can I view my previous orders placed on this site?

To view your order history you must first Sign In. Click My Account and then account dashboard on the menu bar to access your account information. Select View Order History from the Account dashboard menu and then select the order number for the order you wish to view.
